In the third quarter of 2025, Bosnia and Herzegovina's economy experienced a year-on-year growth of 2.1%, marking the fastest expansion this year and slightly surpassing the revised 2.0% growth observed in the second quarter, as per preliminary estimates. The growth was primarily driven by the information and communication sector, which recorded a 4.8% increase. This was followed by gains in the sectors of wholesale and retail trade, transportation, and accommodation and food services, which collectively increased by 3.8%. Conversely, the manufacturing sector faced a decline of 2.5%. From an expenditure perspective, household consumption rose by 2.5%, government spending increased by 2.7%, and gross capital formation saw a significant surge of 9.0%. Export activities posted a moderate growth of 1.4%, while imports climbed by 5.6%. On a seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, the economic growth in the third quarter was 0.5%, following a 0.7% increase in the second quarter.
