Lithuania’s industrial production increased by 1.6% year-on-year in February 2026, slowing from an upwardly revised 2% gain in January. Meanwhile, activity in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services contracted further, with output falling 14.8% after a 13.7% decline in the previous month. By contrast, the mining and quarrying sector showed some improvement, with output still decreasing but at a less pronounced rate of 35.2% compared with a 42.5% drop in January. On a monthly basis, industrial production rose 0.9%, following an upwardly revised 4.8% increase in the prior month.
