At 2.00 am ET Thursday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK GDP data. After the data, the pound dropped further against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 157.92 against the yen, 0.8615 against the euro, 1.2191 against the greenback and 1.2141 against the franc around 2:05 am ET.
