Acer Inc. (ACID.L) has reported their first quarter net income at NT$1.20 billion, demonstrating a substantial year-over-year increase of 133.4%. The earnings per share stood at NT$0.40 for the same quarter. Gross profits reached NT$6.20 billion, marking a 15.5% rise from the previous year. The operating income exhibited a stunning 227.4% increase from the previous year, standing at NT$781 million. Consolidated revenues during the first quarter experienced a 12.2% increase year-on-year, totaling at NT$58.83 billion.
Additionally, Acer Inc. stated that 29.4% of total revenue and 57.6% of operating income in the first quarter was generated by businesses other than computers and displays.
