According to data released on Monday by Statistics Finland, Finland's unemployment rate remained stable at 8.1 percent in November for the second consecutive month, consistent with the rate observed in the two preceding months. In contrast, November of the previous year recorded a lower unemployment rate at 6.8 percent. The number of unemployed individuals in November was 226,000, a slight decrease from the 228,000 reported in October.
Furthermore, the unemployment rate among youths aged 15 to 24 declined to 15.5 percent, down from 16.2 percent in October. The statistics also indicated a drop in the employment rate, which fell from 62.2 percent in October to 61.7 percent in November.
