On Tuesday, Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. (HII) announced that its Mission Technologies division has been awarded a task order valued at approximately $296 million. This order is to provide support to the U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa for their global air and space operations.
Under the five-year Consolidated Mission Support task order, granted by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center's 764 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, HII will offer technical and analytical services to aid USAFE-AFAFRICA in crucial operational areas.
As of pre-market trading, HII's stock is at $202.50 on the New York Stock Exchange, reflecting a slight decrease of 0.24% or $0.49.
