Meanwhile, net borrowing through alternative consumer credit avenues, such as car dealership finance and personal loans, held steady at £0.6 billion in February. The annual growth rate for all consumer credit remained consistent at 6.4% for February. Notably, the annual growth rate of credit card borrowing climbed to 8.9% from January's 8.5%, whereas the annual growth rate for other types of consumer credit decreased slightly to 5.2% from 5.5% during the same timeframe.
