In April 2025, Turkey's manufacturing sector operated at 74.3% of its production capacity, a slight decrease from 74.4% in March. This represented the lowest capacity utilization rate since March 2023, driven by declines in several categories: non-durable consumer goods fell to 72.7% from 73.1%, consumer goods to 72.6% from 73%, intermediate goods to 74.5% from 74.8%, and durable consumer goods to 71.9% from 72.1%. Conversely, there was a positive shift in the production capacity for investment goods, which increased to 73.2% from 72%. A year prior, in April 2024, the industry was operating at 76.7% capacity.
