FX.co ★ Croatia Producer Inflation Highest in Just Over 2 Years

Producer prices in Croatia saw an increase of 1.7% year-on-year in September 2025, up from the 1.2% rise recorded in the previous month. This represents the highest rate since August 2023, primarily driven by increased costs in energy, which rose by 2.3% compared to 0.6% in August, capital goods up by 3.3% from 3.1%, and intermediate goods which saw a rise of 1.2% from 1.0%. In contrast, there was a slowdown in the growth of prices for non-durable consumer goods, which grew by 1.0% compared to 1.4% previously, while prices for durable consumer goods remained stable at 0.2%. When excluding energy, producer prices maintained a rise of 1.5%, consistent with the growth seen in the prior month. On a month-to-month basis, there was a 0.3% increase in producer prices in September, following a 0.2% rise in August.
