Singapore's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained steady at 2.0% in the third quarter of 2025, maintaining the same level as the preceding quarter, according to preliminary data. This figure represents the peak since the first quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, total employment saw a notable increase during this period, with a rise of 24,800 compared to 10,400 in the second quarter. This growth was fueled by substantial gains in both resident and non-resident employment.
