FX.co ★ France Q3 GDP Growth Beats Estimates

The French economy experienced a notable acceleration in the third quarter of 2025, with a quarter-on-quarter growth of 0.5%. This marks an improvement from the 0.3% increase recorded in the second quarter and significantly exceeds market expectations of a 0.1% rise, according to preliminary estimates. This growth rate is the most robust quarterly expansion observed since the second quarter of 2023. On a year-over-year basis, the GDP increased by 0.9%, surpassing the revised growth of 0.7% in the previous quarter, and represents the fastest annual growth rate in a year.
