In September 2025, Mexico experienced a 3.3% year-over-year increase in retail sales, improving upon the 2.4% growth observed in August. The most significant gains were noted in online and catalog sales, which surged by 23.8%. Following this were household appliances at 9.7% and motor vehicles and fuels at 7.7%. Healthcare products saw a rise of 6.5%, while stationery and recreational goods increased by 6.2%. Conversely, grocery and beverage sales declined by 4.2%, and department store sales saw a slight decrease of 0.1%. Additionally, retail employment went up by 1%, and wages increased by 4.3%. However, on a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, real income from goods and services remained steady in September.
