FX.co ★ Brazil Mid-Month CPI Picks Up Slightly in November

In the first half of November 2025, Brazil's mid-month consumer prices increased by 0.20%, slightly surpassing predictions of a 0.18% rise and quickening from the 0.18% uptick recorded in October. Out of the nine product and service categories analyzed, seven registered gains. Notably, personal expenses experienced the most significant rise at 0.85%. Health and personal care followed with an increase of 0.29%, and transportation posted a 0.22% rise. After five consecutive months of declines, prices for food and beverages inched up by 0.09%, matching the pace of growth in housing prices. Clothing prices saw a 0.19% increase. On the other hand, household goods faced the steepest decline, falling by 0.20%. The annual mid-month inflation rate eased to 4.50% from the previous 4.94%.
