Relative to October 2024, the number of unemployed individuals decreased by 174,000, whereas the employed population surged by 977,000, reflecting a 4.2% increase. The sectors with the most significant employment growth included agriculture, livestock, hunting, forestry, and fishing, which added 347,000 jobs; accommodation and food services, which gained 279,000 jobs; and transportation and storage, which saw an increase of 231,000 jobs. Over the August to October period, the unemployment rate averaged 8.3%.
