FX.co ★ Indonesia Trade Surplus Smallest in 7 Months

Indonesia's trade surplus decreased to USD 2.4 billion in October 2025, down from USD 2.48 billion a year prior. This represents the narrowest trade surplus since April, primarily due to a more significant reduction in exports compared to imports. Exports experienced a 2.31% year-on-year decline, a stark contrast to the 11.41% growth seen in September, marking the first decrease since March 2024. On the other hand, imports also saw a reduction, falling 1.15% after a 7.17% increase in September.
