In October 2025, Indonesia experienced an 11.19% year-on-year increase in foreign tourist arrivals, reaching a total of 1.33 million. This marked an acceleration from the 9.04% growth observed in the prior month. The government has set its sights on achieving a target of 14–16 million foreign arrivals for 2025, following a 19.1% surge to 13.9 million visitors last year, which surpassed expectations and represented the most robust recovery since the COVID-19 pandemic.
