In November 2025, Georgia experienced a deceleration in its annual inflation rate, which decreased to 4.8% from the previous month's peak of 5.2%, a high not seen in over two years. This moderation in inflation was primarily attributed to reduced price pressures in several categories: food and non-alcoholic beverages saw a decrease to 10.3% from October's 11.7%, health-related costs eased to 8% from 8.9%, and the cost of alcoholic beverages and tobacco dropped to 4.4% from 5.6%. Moreover, the decline was also evident in communication costs, which fell to -4% from -4.2%; furnishings, household equipment, and maintenance costs, which decreased to -1.3% from -2.2%; and recreation and culture expenses, down to -1.5% from -2.1%. Conversely, inflation rose in the transportation sector, climbing to 0.3% from -0.8%, in education to 2.3% from 2.1%, and in miscellaneous goods and services to 5.3% from 4.2%. On a monthly scale, consumer prices increased by 0.4% in November, which is a moderation from the 0.6% rise recorded in the previous period.
