In October 2025, Spain welcomed 9.2 million international tourists, marking a 3.2% increase compared to the same period in the previous year and setting a new record for the month. The United Kingdom was the primary source of visitors, contributing over 1.8 million tourists, which represents a 2.8% rise compared to October 2024. Germany followed with 1.3 million tourists, although this number reflects a 3.1% decline. France rounded out the top three with 1.2 million visitors, showing a slight increase of 0.1%. The majority of tourists stayed for a period of four to seven nights, totaling more than 4.6 million, and this reflects a 1.6% increase from the previous year. Catalonia emerged as the leading destination for tourists in October, attracting 21.4% of all visitors and experiencing a notable 9.9% increase from October 2024. The Balearic Islands came next with a 17.0% share, although they saw a slight decrease of 1.7%, while Andalusia accounted for 15.4% of tourist arrivals, representing a 4.2% rise year-on-year. From January to October 2025, the total number of tourists visiting Spain grew by 3.5%, reaching nearly 85.7 million, setting a new record.
