In November 2025, Armenia experienced a 3.1% increase in its annual consumer inflation rate. This represents a modest decline from the 3.7% observed in October, the lowest rate recorded since February. The slowdown in inflation is attributable to reduced price increases in several categories: food and non-alcoholic beverages saw a growth of 3.8%, down from 5.6% in October; alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose by 6.7%, a slight decrease from 6.8%; health-related costs increased by 3% compared to 3.5%; and communication expenses were up by 0.6%, a marginal decrease from the previous 0.7%.
Conversely, some sectors experienced rises in costs: furnishings and household equipment went up by 1% as opposed to 0.9% the month before; transport costs rose to 5% from 4.9%; recreation and culture increased to 2.5% from 2.4%; the dining and hospitality sector saw an uptick to 2.7% from 2.1%; and miscellaneous goods and services climbed to 2.4% from 1.8%. Notably, the decline in clothing and footwear prices was less pronounced, dropping by 0.2% compared to a 0.9% decline previously.
On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices grew by 0.6% in November, an increase from the 0.3% recorded in each of the preceding two months.
