In November 2025, Ireland's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate saw a slight decrease to 4.9%, marking the lowest level since June, from 5% in the previous month. The number of unemployed individuals declined by 2,700 compared to the previous month, reaching a total of 144,400. Among men, the unemployment rate reduced to 4.9% from October's 5%, while it remained unchanged for women at 5%. Examining the data by age groups, the unemployment rate for those aged 15–24 stayed constant at 13.4%, whereas for individuals aged 25–74, it decreased slightly to 3.7% from 3.8% in the preceding month. Compared to November 2024, the unemployment rate was higher, as it stood at 4.2% in that year.
