Hong Kong's unemployment rate, seasonally adjusted, remained steady at 3.8% for the three-month period ending November 2025, nearing a peak not seen in nearly three years. The number of unemployed individuals decreased by 5,200 to 144,400, while overall employment experienced a decline of 2,800, bringing the total to 3.67 million. Among the youth aged 20-29, the unemployment rate eased to 7.6% from October's 7.9%, reaching its lowest point in four months.
