Retail sales in North Macedonia experienced a 2.3% year-on-year increase in November 2025. This growth extends the previous month's 3% rise, marking the first consecutive uptick since June. Notably, there were significant sales improvements in the categories of food, beverages, and tobacco (up by 6.5%) as well as non-food and non-fuel items (up by 1.5%). Conversely, there was a notable decline in the sales of automotive fuel, which fell by 5.7%. In nominal terms, retail sales in Macedonia expanded by 6.4%.
