In November 2025, North Macedonia experienced a 2.8% decline in industrial production compared to the same period the previous year, effectively reversing the 2.8% gain seen in October. Production decreases were observed in the energy sector (-8.5%) and capital goods (-4.7%), largely due to a substantial downturn in metal ore production (-11.1%). The manufacturing sector also faced a 2% decrease, with significant drops in the textiles (-10.5%) and clothing (-14.4%) industries. In contrast, output in the sector of intermediate products, excluding energy, saw a notable rise of 7.7%. Overall, the country's industrial output saw a 1.9% increase over the year leading up to November.
