In December 2025, house prices in Norway remained stable, maintaining the levels achieved in November, which saw a 0.7% rise. By the end of December, the average home price was NOK 4,420,795. Residential property sales for the month totaled 3,809 units, marking a 1.4% increase compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, 3,436 homes were newly listed, representing a 5.9% decline from December 2024. The average duration to sell a property extended to 71 days, compared to 54 days in November. Notably, Bergen and Stavanger reported the fastest selling times at 20 and 26 days, respectively, whereas Tønsberg and its surrounding areas experienced the longest at 105 days. Regionally, Tønsberg with Færder and Follo showed the strongest price increases at 1.7%. On the other hand, Bodø with Fauske and Ålesund experienced the steepest declines, with prices dropping by 5.6% and 3.9%, respectively. Overall, for the year 2025, house prices in Norway increased by 5%, following a 6.2% rise in the previous month.
