South Korea’s imports increased 7.5% year-on-year in February 2026, easing from an 11.6% gain in January and coming in below market expectations of 13%. Even so, it was the fourth consecutive monthly rise in imports, supported by resilient domestic demand ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
