In March 2025, Malta experienced producer deflation at a rate of 0.5%, maintaining the same level as in February. The prices for capital goods decreased to 1.2% from 1.4%, and consumer goods prices also fell to 1.3% from 1.4%. Energy prices remained stable with no change at 0%. Deflation eased for intermediate goods, coming in at -3.3% compared to -3.5% the previous month. On a month-over-month basis, producer prices declined by 0.2% in March, following a smaller drop of 0.1% in February.
