Retail sales in Macedonia in March 2025 remained unchanged compared to March 2024, following a 1.2% growth observed in February. The pace of sales growth slowed for food, beverages, and tobacco, which saw a rise of 1.3%, down from 2.6% in February. Similarly, automotive fuel sales increased by only 0.4%, compared to a 1.1% increase the previous month. In contrast, sales for non-food products excluding fuel experienced a decline of 2.3%, compared to a smaller decrease of 0.8% in February.
