In August 2025, Slovenia's annual producer inflation decelerated to 0.9%, down from 1.1% in July. This represented the most modest increase since February. The slowdown was primarily attributed to reduced cost hikes in the manufacturing sector, which saw a rise of 1% compared to 1.4% in the previous month, and in mining and quarrying, with an increase of 8.3% against 8.5%. Conversely, the decline in prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply was less pronounced, narrowing to -4% from -7%. Meanwhile, producer inflation for water supply remained stable at 5.4%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices experienced a 0.2% increase in August, marking a recovery from the previous month's 0.2% decline.
