In March 2025, Jordan experienced a 0.38% year-on-year decrease in producer prices, following a 0.17% decline in February. This marked the second consecutive month of declining producer prices, driven predominantly by a dip in manufacturing prices, which dropped by 0.43% compared to a 0.21% decline in February, and constitute 88.74% of the overall index. Additionally, quarrying prices fell by 0.69%, though this was an improvement from the 6.72% reduction seen the previous month. Meanwhile, electricity prices saw a 0.62% increase, an acceleration from the 0.20% growth observed in February. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices rose by 0.24% in March, recovering from a 0.15% decrease in the prior month. Over the first quarter of 2025, producer prices showed a slight decrease of 0.11% compared to the same quarter the previous year.
