In April 2025, Vietnam experienced a 6.3% year-on-year increase in international arrivals, reaching a total of 1.65 million visitors. This followed a significant growth of 28.5% in the month prior. From Asia, there was a 3% rise in visitors, with notable contributions from China (2.8%), Malaysia (8.2%), and Cambodia (8.9%). European arrivals saw a substantial increase of 27.5%, driven by a remarkable 112.2% growth from Russia, 13.7% from the UK, and 15.1% from France. Tourists from Australia increased by 22.7%, and those from Africa surged by 28.5%. However, there was a 5.4% decline in arrivals from America. In the first four months of the year, tourist arrivals in Vietnam rose by 23.8%, totaling 7.67 million.
