Trump stubbornly pursues his goal to make America great again. So far, the US President has not met any obstacles on his way. Maybe someone can say that his actions are incoherent and uncontrolled, and sometimes he gives too ambitious statements without thinking. Still, he tries to accomplish his pre-election promises.
Domestic taxes cuts and an increase in tariffs abroad were one of the key points of Trump’s presidential campaign. Though the global community disapproves some actions of the US President, he still follows his own way. It is proved by both the recent reaction of the White House and London’s official statement.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May said that imposing tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum was unjustified. In response, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said: “The president feels very confident in his decision and will continue to make sure that the unfair trade practices that have gone on for decades will not continue.” In other words, Trump is not going to give up. America will be great again!
