Additionally, the labor force participation rate showed a marginal increase, climbing to 76.3% from 76.2% in July. During the same timeframe, unemployment benefits slightly decreased by 200, bringing the total to 187,400. When compared to the same period in 2024, the unemployment rate noted a decrease of 0.2 percentage points from the 3.7% recorded in August of the previous year.
