France's official reserve assets reached a record peak of €350.04 billion in October 2025, up from €330.27 billion in the previous month. This €19.77 billion increase is attributed to growth across several areas: gold reserves climbed to €273.25 billion from €254.59 billion; foreign currency reserves rose to €31.37 billion from €30.68 billion; claims on the IMF increased to €38.97 billion from €38.60 billion; and other reserve assets grew to €6.45 billion from €6.40 billion.
