Producer prices in Slovenia increased by 1.3% year-on-year in October 2025, up from a 0.7% rise in the previous month. This marks the quickest rate of producer price growth since June. The acceleration was primarily driven by rising costs in mining and quarrying, which climbed to 8.3% from 7.5% in September, and in manufacturing, which rose to 1.3% from 1.0%. Meanwhile, prices in the water supply sector remained steady at 5.4%. Notably, the deflation in the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply sector moderated significantly, with a decrease of 2.7% compared to a more pronounced drop of 8.1% earlier. On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.1% in October, reversing the 0.2% decline observed in the previous period.
