In October 2025, Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced a 0.7% year-on-year decline in industrial production, an improvement from the previous month's 2.7% decrease. This marked the fourth consecutive month of reduced industrial activity, though it was the mildest drop during this period. There were smaller contractions in the production of consumer durables, which fell by 26.4% compared to September's 28.4% decline, and consumer non-durables, which decreased by 7.2%, improving from an 8.7% reduction. On a positive note, energy production saw a significant rebound, rising by 12.9% after a 1.3% drop, while the output of capital goods grew more robustly, increasing by 8.3% compared to 4.1% previously. However, the production of intermediate goods recorded a steeper drop, declining by 5.4% after a slight 0.5% decrease. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose by 3.2% in October, building on a 2.4% increase in September.
