Namibia’s annual inflation rate was 4.4% in July 2026, unchanged from June and the highest level since August 2024. The main driver of price growth was the transport category, which rose by 9.3%. This was followed by hotels, cafés and restaurants (up 6.2%) and recreation and culture (up 5.6%), while housing & utilities and health both posted notable increases of 4.8%. On a month-on-month basis, the consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.1%, easing from a 0.3% increase in the previous month.
