Producer prices in Croatia rose by 4.9% year-on-year in July 2026, down from 5.7% in June and marking the weakest increase in four months. The slowdown was largely driven by a more moderate rise in mining and quarrying prices (13.9% vs. 18.5% in June), mainly reflecting a deceleration in crude petroleum and natural gas extraction (19.5% vs. 30.8%).
Manufacturing producer price inflation also eased (4.3% vs. 5.3%), chiefly due to a sharp slowdown in prices of coke and refined petroleum products (38.7% vs. 54.6%). In contrast, inflation edged higher in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (5.4% vs. 4.7%), and price growth also ticked up in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (2.0% vs. 1.8%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices fell by 0.2%, following a 0.3% decline in the previous month.
