Producer prices in Greece accelerated sharply to 20.4% year-on-year in September 2026, up from 14.9% in August, marking their highest level since November 2022. Costs increased across several categories, including intermediate goods (8.1% vs. 7.9% in August), capital goods (4.1% vs. 4.0%), and energy (41.2% vs. 28.5%), while remaining unchanged for non-durable consumer goods at 1.4%. In contrast, the pace of price growth eased slightly for durable consumer goods (2.0% vs. 2.1%).
By market segment, producer prices rose in both the domestic market (13.2% vs. 8.9%) and the non-domestic market (38.3% vs. 29.7%). On a monthly basis, producer prices were flat in September, following a 0.6% increase in the previous month.
