Spectral AI Inc. (MDAI) has announced the appointment of its founder, Michael DiMaio, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Michael DiMaio established Spectral AI in 2009 and served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board from 2011 to 2020. He currently serves as Chief of Staff at Baylor Scott & White, bringing over 30 years of expertise in cardiothoracic surgery to the role. DiMaio is known for his specialization in advanced cardiovascular and thoracic procedures and is responsible for the oversight of more than 650 physicians within the organization.
