In June 2025, industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced a 2.6% year-on-year increase, breaking a six-month trend of declines and recovering from a 0.8% drop in the previous month. This growth was largely propelled by a resurgence in intermediate goods, which increased by 3.8% compared to a 1.9% decline in May, and a significantly reduced contraction in energy output, improving to -0.1% from -10.7%. Nevertheless, challenges remained in other sectors. Consumer durables continued their downward trajectory, falling by 32.7% following a 28.4% decrease, while the growth in capital goods slowed to 14.4% from 21.6%, and consumer non-durables saw a mild gain of 1.2% compared to 2.4% previously. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rose by 2.0% in June, effectively reversing the 3.2% downturn observed in May.
