In September 2025, the Czech Republic's current account recorded a surplus of CZK 29.36 billion, marking a significant shift from the CZK 8.73 billion deficit reported in the same period the previous year. The surplus in the goods account expanded to CZK 45.81 billion, up from CZK 37.17 billion in September 2024. Concurrently, the deficit in primary income notably decreased to CZK 14.37 billion, compared to CZK 47.96 billion. Additionally, the secondary income shortfall narrowed slightly, coming down to CZK 6.23 billion from CZK 6.66 billion. On the other hand, the services account surplus contracted to CZK 4.15 billion in September 2025, a decline from CZK 8.72 billion in the same month the previous year.
