Kimco Realty Corp. (KIM) announced on Tuesday that Milton Cooper, its founder and former CEO, will retire as Executive Chairman of both Kimco Realty Corp. and Kimco Realty OP, LLC following the 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Upon his retirement, Cooper will transition to the role of Chairman Emeritus. Richard Saltzman, currently serving as Chair of the Audit Committee, will step into the role of Independent Chairman, while Mary Hogan Preusse will complete her tenure as Lead Independent Director.
Additionally, the company has appointed Nancy Lashine and Ross Cooper to its Board of Directors, with their tenure commencing on January 21.
As of the pre-market trading period, shares of Kimco are priced at $22.29 on the New York Stock Exchange.
