Uber Eats, a sector of Uber Technologies, Inc., has initiated a collaboration with Home Depot Inc., a prominent home improvement retailer, to provide efficient on-demand or scheduled delivery services nationwide.
Starting this Wednesday, customers will have the capability to purchase products from over 2,000 Home Depot locations via the Uber Eats app. This selection encompasses tools, building materials, gardening supplies, and other related items, all accessible directly from the application.
Customers can opt for deliveries that suit their schedules, choosing either immediate service or planning for a later time, which accommodates their busy lifestyles.
To utilize this service, users simply open the Uber Eats app, select a Home Depot store, and browse a specially curated range of products. After adding items to their cart, they can select a preferred delivery time and complete the checkout process.
This strategic partnership aims to streamline home improvement projects, granting quick access to essential tools and materials, which can be delivered straight to homes or job sites.
Jordan Broggi, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience and President of Online for The Home Depot, remarked, "Our retail outlets are integral to The Home Depot's business model, and enhancing our e-commerce functionalities is crucial to achieving a seamless, interconnected shopping experience. By supplementing our existing same-day and next-day delivery offerings on homedepot.com with the swift and user-friendly Uber Eats platform, we are augmenting our ability to serve our customers in whatever manner they choose to shop."
