In the final quarter of 2024, the Netherlands' economy experienced a 0.4% growth compared to the previous quarter, consistent with earlier projections and following a 0.8% increase in the third quarter. This growth was underpinned by consistent rises in government expenditure, which remained steady at 0.9%, and household consumption, which increased to 1% from 0.6% in the previous quarter. Moreover, fixed investment growth saw a notable boost, accelerating to 2.8% from 0.3%, fueled by enhanced investments from businesses and households, alongside a significant recovery in government investments.
