In April 2025, Thailand's exports experienced a 10.2% increase compared to the previous year, surpassing market expectations of a 9.1% rise. This increase followed a temporary 90-day suspension announced by President Trump on a proposed 36% tariff on Thai exports, prompting factories to expedite shipments. Despite this growth, it represented the slowest pace since December, and a significant decline from the 17.8% jump observed in March.
