FX.co ★ Seychelles CPI Rises Faster in May

In May 2025, Seychelles experienced a year-on-year increase in consumer prices of 0.40%, up from a 0.08% rise in April. The prices for food items, excluding fresh fish, accelerated to 2.24% compared to the previous 2% rise, and non-food products saw a growth of 0.21% after previously remaining flat. However, the cost of fresh fish continued its decline, recording a 5.12% drop, albeit less severe than the 12.01% decrease noted earlier. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices decreased by 0.14%, following a 0.16% increase in the previous month.
