The Baltic Exchange's dry bulk sea freight index, which monitors the shipping rates for transporting dry commodities, experienced a 0.4% increase, reaching its highest level since October 2, at 1,975 points. This uptick was supported by gains across all vessel categories. Similarly, the panamax index, which is associated with transporting 60,000-70,000 tons of coal or grain, rose by 0.6% to a ten-week high of 1,410 points. Additionally, the supramax index for smaller vessels increased by 3 points, reaching a near two-week high of 939 points.
