In October 2025, Finland's manufacturing confidence dropped to -4, a decline from a downwardly revised figure of 2 recorded in the previous month. This represents the lowest confidence level since July, coming in below the long-term average of 0. Expectations for production in the upcoming months have diminished (falling from 26 to 13), and the order backlog has further decreased (-22 compared to -21). On a brighter note, inventories of finished goods saw an improvement (up to 3 from -2). Additionally, 60% of companies reported operating at full capacity in October, a decrease from 68% in the previous month, and still lagging behind the long-term average of 70%.
