In September 2025, Greece's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady at 8.2%, consistent with the revised rate from the preceding month. This rate continues to be the lowest since November 2008. The ranks of the unemployed decreased by 4,000, totaling 385,800 individuals. However, employment figures also saw a reduction of 23,600, bringing the total number of employed to 4.3 million. Concurrently, the population segment not participating in the labor force grew by 21,600, reaching 3.025 million.
