Meanwhile, domestic sales experienced a slight decrease of 0.1% after remaining unchanged in the preceding month. Notably, the wholesale trade sector recorded the steepest decline at 2.0%, while other services experienced a more moderate drop of 0.3%. When reviewed on an annual basis, industrial sales registered a slight dip of 0.1% in August, following a 1.2% increase the month before.
